This Garden project is for a Showroom for heating systems. As the main business is taking place in winter, the garden's main interest is in the cold season. The client wants a garden which will enliven the rather dull building and which requires only little maintenance.
We are opting for a design which includes winter blooming heathers, and persistant, wavy Stipa and Poa. Additional interest will come from the flamboyantly red branches of the naked Cornus alba Sibirica in contrast with the white bark of Betula utilis jacquemontii.
Furthermore we are using Calamagrostis 'Karl Foerster' for screaning and the beautiful grasses Molinia and Pennisetum in conjunction with Perennials which are keeping their fading beauty well in winter.
